Hi, I.m Brenda Kelleher, psicologa colegiada CV18968 y psicoterapeuta Gestalt con más de 25 años de experiencia helping adults, young people and children who have difficulty in valuing themselves and finding their place in the world. I´m someone who has been in the place you feel you are in right now.
One of the feelings that has predominated my life is that of feeling different, because when you feel different it can be difficult to find your place in the world, your people. Relating to others can be complicated, selfcriticism can rear its ugly head and self compassion diminishes.
Feeling like this, awoke in me, a curiousity for self knowledge and personal growth. It brought me to study psychology (a Degree and Masters) and to find psychotherapy as a tool. Its been a long time since I have felt awkward with the traits that make me different, in fact I have converted them into some of my greatest strengths so as to help others feel at peace with who they are and with their lives..
Thats why I am sure that it is possible to accept oneself and enjoy the present moment, because I have learned from my own experience and from each one of the people I have worked with.
