  2. The search for privacy: Since you are in your own home, it´s fundamental that you can ensure that you won´t be interrupted, and that you can express yourself as sincerely and freely as you need for your therapeutic process.
  3. Physical Contact: Although warmth and active listening can be expressed and felt through a screen, a full understanding of your body language which a face to face encounter offers, cannot occur. However, my experience of more than 25 years, has taught me that the relief of feeling heard and understood transcends that difficulty.

What is most important is your process

Modality aside, what really counts is your connection with yourself.Whether that is online or face to face, the work consists of discovering who you are, valuing what makes you different and learning to put down the necessary boundaries in your relationships.

Doing therapy is one of the most valuable acts of self love that you can do. It´s casting aside regrets and demands so as to begin to live with compassion and responsability over your own feelings.
